Compositeur, interprète, il garde de sa formation à l’ISA (Instituto Superior de Arte) de La Havane, une maîtrise exceptionnelle des percussions.
Il a signé deux albums : Utopia Guantanamera et Dizzy el Afrocubano, en hommage au grand Dizzy Gillespie.
